Introduction To Engineering and Technology

This course is the first course in the Engineering pathway. This beginner course provides students with opportunities to develop fundamental technological literacy and awards them with basic knowledge about different branches of the technological world. Students get to learn about the history and systems of innovation. With the machinery and materials of the Technology Lab, students are able to know hands-on the field of engineering.

Engineering Concepts

Students gather information about separate areas of specialization within engineering. Students go further in depth with engineering design by applying tools and proper procedures. Students explore the field more deeply by learning the signficance and the functionality of drafting tools, drawing intstruments, and other materials. Acitivties are mostly hands-on in the course for students to collect more experience.

Engineering applications

Students learn how to apply their knowledge of engineering design to solve any technological problem given. The class is designed to make the student more familiar with architecture, modeling, and prototyping. Students are expected to make engineered solutions by knowing how to use appropriate tools and applying previous knowledge about sketching and drafting. By the end of the course, sudents are expected to problem solve effortlessly and refine their engineered work.

Basic Maintenance and Light Repair

This course served as the foundational class for the Automobile Maintenance pathway. Students will learn about preventative measures regarding maintenance and serving. Additionally, students will learn how to replace brakes and become familiar with steering parts of a vehicle. Moreover, as this is an introductory class, students will become exposed to emplyability skills that are expected in business and industry.

Introduction to Digital Technology

This is the first course in the Web & Digital Communications and Programming pathways. In this course, students learn the basics of internet technology and basic comupter knowledge. Several concepts are taught in this course, including web design, HTML coding, programming, and so on. In addition to those project-based material, students will learn the concerns and dangers of our emerging technological society.

Web Design

In this course, students learn the basics and processes behind a website page. Students will learn how to outline a layout, code standard HTML, and choose a host for launch. In addition, students will learn about digital media applications and know the signifiance of graphics, animation, sound, and so on. The course will expose stuens to emerging technological resources, software, and applications.

Business Technology

This course provides a basic overview of business and technology skills. Students are able to become skilled in learning basic business software, such as Microsoft Office. Additionally, students learn more of the business realm of technology, including management and financial decisions. Emphasis is placed on developing proficient skills in computer technology and business communication.
